Location of event
The seminar discover biodiversity will take place in Austria. Along the nine days of the seminar 25 people from 12 different organisations from different corners of European Union (Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden, Germany and Finland) and neighboring countries (Macedonia, Armenia and Russia), will come to learn and share experiences about the effects of the climate change in the lost of biodiversity and how to work in a sustainable way.
We will run this seminar, always that the weather allow it, in the middle of the nature. So we will see some effects of the climate change (invasive species, loss of biodiversity, etc.) in situ, being this seminar based in practical things that people can see and do in their own countries. We will use different methods along the seminar in order to facilitate the learning of the participants.
We plan to organise a second seminar after this action in order to go deeper in the knowledge of the participants, as well we would like to invite more people to this second seminar to spread more the knowledge and to foster a network in this issue.
