The AMT09 Conference is an opportunity for industry and academia to learn about the newest model testing techniques. Attend the conference and use the information to better investigate your innovative designs and novel concepts of shipbuilding and offshore constructions. Also let your voice be heard in discussions about further development needs and put forward queries you have about model testing but never asked before. This is the Conference where all major model testing organisations are together and a unique level of expertise and know-how is exhibited.
The aim of this conference is to bring together industry and academia to discuss and disseminate technological advances that will improve measurements and procedures in experimental testing. The conference will bring you expert presentations on advanced measurement technology and initial results from HTA project.
The topics for the conference are in line with the work performed in HTA’s Joint Research Programmes and are:
· PIV operation in hydrodynamic experimental facilities.
· Flow data analysis and visualization.
· 3-D wave field measurements.
· POD / Dynamic forces.
· Wireless data transmission.
· High speed video.
· Intelligent materials and production methods.
· Wetted surface.
· Free running model technologies.
· Advanced measurement techniques.
· Benchmarking and validation.
In addition to the disseminations from the HTA NoE and other participants, the conference will also provide a platform for further networking and opportunity to equipment manufacturers to advertise their products using printed material only.
