The Symposiums gives an overview on the technologies and market prospects of solar and renewable cooling technologies. Monitored performance results from large solar thermal driven absorption and adsorption cooling systems will be analysed and the economics compared to conventional cooling systems. Latest developments in low and medium power closed and open sorption systems for residential and office building applications are presented by companies, consultants and researchers.
The afternoon session is dedicated to thermal cooling systems powered by biomass power plants, which can already be economic today, especially for large power systems.
The target audience includes engineers and planners, the solar thermal and renewable power plant industry, chiller and air conditioning manufacturers, local authorities, energy supplier and researchers.
