Location of event
The Centre and The Climate Group invite you to a discussion on how the European Union and the United States can and should engage China in the aftermath of the Copenhagen climate change accord, whilst China has not been willing to subscribe to internationally-set binding emissions reduction targets. Ms. Changhua Wu, Greater China Director of The Climate Group, Mr. Jos Delbeke, Deputy Director General in DG Environment, Mr. Louis Bono from the US Mission to the EU, and Mr. Ismael Aznar of the Spanish Climate Change Office will present their views on the role of China at the December international climate conference in Copenhagen (COP15) and whether the EU and other international actors can effectively engage China in a climate change dialogue.
The discussion will be held under Chatham House rules and will bring together stakeholders from the EU institutions, business and civil society.
