The European Parliament has scheduled its hearings of the newly nominated Commissioners to begin on 11 January and end on 19 January.
Further to the announcement of the Bulgarian governement to withdraw Rumiana Jeleva as Commissioner-Designate, a new hearing is set to take place on 3 February with the new Bulgarian Commissioner-Designate, Mrs Kristalina Georgieva.
The final vote on the new College has thus been postponed to Tuesday 9th February. The vote will be preceded by a debate.
