Location of event
The "Women Create" Festival will widen and export abroad its intense and varied programme, adapting it to the circumstances of the Spanish Presidency of the EU. In this regard, space will be granted to the cultural contributions made by Belgium and Hungary - the countries with which Spain will share the EU Presidency. However, a wide range of events have also been organised for capital cities like Paris, where a specific programme was put together in collaboration with the city council, including debates, cinema, literature and a section entitled "Spanish Women in Paris". In addition, Budapest will host two special concerts and the first of the three choreographies making up the "Prési-danses" project will take place in Barcelona, which includes the work of the Spaniard Olga de Soto, the Hungarian Eszter Salamon and the Belgian Karine Ponties. Women Create reflects all artistic disciplines (music, literature, gastronomy, the fine arts, theatre, sports, photography, etc.) through which it aims to put the spotlight on creative women. The festival will be held between February and April.
