Experts from the EU and the Member States will analyse the changes brought about by the Lisbon Treaty in the field of criminal justice. The conference will also link this discussion to the recently adopted
Stockholm programme and analyse how these two developments are likely to affect future integration in the policy area as well as what new legislative measures might arise in the coming years.
Viviane Reding, the Commissioner for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, will present her policy vision on the future of criminal justice.
