Location of event
2010 has been declared by the United Nations as International Year of Youth. In this context it is important to discuss the role of creativity as a tool of youth world development and the way culture can help young people express freely and get more involved in society. Moreover, at the core of European Youth Forum's policy are the rights of young people. The European Youth Forum works to involve young people in the process of policy making, as it promotes the participation of young people at the local, regional, national, European and global levels to shape social, economic, cultural and environmental life.
During this event, we will discuss why the creativity of young people must be fostered, not as clients, but as actors and contributors to the dynamic process of decision making and how much freedom of expression do young Romanian artists have in the larger European context.
