The Lord Ralf Dahrendorf Lecture takes place in cooperation with the Badische Zeitung and the ZEIT Foundation and Gerd Bucerius Ebelin and place with the kind support of the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT. It is the first of its kind and is reminiscent of the last year died sociologists, journalists, politicians and former chairman of the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung, Lord Ralf Dahrendorf. Even the theme of the evening is a reference to Lord Dahrendorf and this had worked in the last years of his life, especially with issues of inter-religious coexistence and intercultural dialogue.

Anheier , Ph.D., University of Heidelberg, paid tribute to the life and work of Lord Ralf Dahrendorf. The final word, Dr Christian H. Hodeige, editor of the Badische Zeitung. Moderating the panel discussion: Thomas Hauser, editor of the Badische Zeitung.
