Location of event

The Internet is an open communication space that is for many people long been a matter of course. The debate over the political treatment of this topic is just beginning: how to preserve values such as freedom and justice in this medium? How do we ensure participation in this new form of communication? How we protect civil liberties in the digital age? How far can or will be government interference or non-interference in the sense of the common good? The network is basically the world, many questions can not be resolved at the national level. The European market is a complex issue for many of the critical solution level.

In the exchange with policy makers and other representatives of the Brussels institutions to investigate the seminary, who are the network of political actors in Brussels, what powers lie at the European level, as there, questions about net neutrality, civil rights, Internet access and broadband, digital divide, e-participation or intellectual property right will be discussed and answered.
