Location of event
A day-long Conference organised by the European Roma Information Office (ERIO) entitled "Fighting Roma Poverty, Ensuring Equality" will be held at the European Economic and Social Commitee.
The conference will discuss institutional tools used to fight poverty and promote the equality of Roma. It will gather representatives of EU and national institutions as well as non-governmental organizations.
It aims at proposing solutions within the overall approach of the EU for the social inclusion of Roma and equal treatment. Another objective of the conference is for participants to share experience and positive practices on combating Roma poverty.
