This conference aims at enhancing the OSCE role and its assistance to participating States in combating production and trafficking in illicit drugs and psychotropic substances as one of the most dangerous forms of trans-national organized crime.
It also aims at promoting law-enforcement and cross-border contacts, as well as examining the possibilities of fostering international and regional counter narcotics co-operation.
