In December 2009, the Commission has launched a public consultation on air passenger rights which was closed on 10 March 2010. The consultation has been a great success: more than 370 contributions have been received.
The hearing will be opened by Vice President Siim Kallas. It will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, national authorities, consumer and PRM associations, airlines and airports and their associations, employers associations, trade unions, NGOs etc. in order to present the results, conclusions and recommendations from the public consultation.
Simultaneous interpretation will be assured from and into English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
