As part of the Belgian Presidency of the EU, the Section for the Single Market, Consumption and Production will be organising a conference entitled INNOVATION AND ENTERPRISE, the role of socio-economic players, in close cooperation with the private office of Mr Jean-Claude Marcourt, Vice-President and Minister for Economic Affairs, SMEs, External Trade and New Technologies for the Wallon Regional Government and in partnership with the Belgian consultative committees.
The aim of this conference will be to prepare the work of the informal Council of Ministers of Industry and Research.
At the event, speakers from the world of business, high level researchers (Institut Bruegel, the Czech Academy of Sciences), EESC members and members of Belgian socio-economic committees and the EESC as well as representatives from the EU institutions will all have the opportunity to engage in discussion with the public through a series of roundtables.
