In-Transit is a European Community Film and Communications project linked to Europe’s 50th Anniversary celebrations and it is aimed at promoting intercultural dialogue, cultural awareness and encouraging young Europeans to participate in public life and in decision-making. At the launch event, the website for the in-transit ‘interactive Virtual Train’ will be inaugurated by MEPs and Commissioners. This will be an opportunity for European citizens, both those who are present at the event and those who are logged on to the ‘Virtual Train’, to have their voices heard directly by the leaders of Europe and will enable them to put their questions to the panel. The in-transit ‘Virtual Train’ serves as a platform for interaction between young Europeans and European leaders, encouraging them to learn and share opinions and perspectives on Europe on the occasion of Europe’s 50th Anniversary.
